Description
The Lactaid kit with bottles contains the instruction sheet, two 40cm feeding tubes, paper tape for taping down the feeding tube, a cleaning syringe, and 2x 60ml bottles. The bottle teats are adapted for use with the lact-aid system and cannot be used for regular bottle feeding.This is a great cost-effective way to supplement your baby while you are building your milk supply up. This device should be used after consultation with a health provider such as your midwife, lactation consultant, or breastfeeding counsellor such as a La Leche League leader, to ensure that supplementation is necessary, and to quantify the amount of supplementation your baby requires.
The feeding tubes last a few days to a few weeks each depending on how often they are used, after which replacements can be purchased.
